Hello I am currently using kde so if I make another user and install gnome alongside kde and login into gnome will I be able to use the apps that I have installed in KDE. What is the best way should i install the same app twice on different desktop environments because qt apps will not look good on gtk ? Thanks

If you installed the app using pacman, it should be available for both users, and on either desktop environment

#

If you installed a package for an individual user using something like flatpak, it will only be available to the user you installed it for

That's a theme thing that can be tweaked for each user

#

So you may have your Firefox theme setup on kde for yourself but you need to make a new theme for gnome and the new user

Also you don't need a new user for a new desktop
