hello so I am running arch/hyprland and I had an issue where hyprland wouldset my secondary display as the main workspace and my main as the 2nd workspace. My solution to that is simply swaping the physical cables but now it looks fine in hyprland but for some reason when I boot my tty login is on my secondary monitor instead of mirrored across like normal. I have no problem with it being displayed on 1 display but I would like to see it on my main display does anyone know ow to fix this?

Yes

So the fix is either I switch the displays again and somehow tell hyprland which display is the main display or not switch them and use kernel params to set the main display to default

#

But idk how to do that

Appreciate it

Ok

I'm there but it says xorg.conf.d is a directory

Ok well I fixed it by assigning workspaces to separate monitors but if I can eliminate the mirroring at the login screen that would be cool

Well for grub probably

#

But when I use the video kernel parameter to disable my other monitor it disables it completely

so sorry if this sounds stupid but I thought xorg isnt on hyprland since hyprland uses wayland
