I tried connecting by commands and I also tried using the icon on the taskbar
Please follow the Standard Litany when asking a question:
• What was your environment? What was your operating system, configuration?
• What did you do? What did you run or test? Where?
• What actually happened? What were the exact results, complete log contents, exact error messages?
• What did you expect? What were you aiming to achieve? What result were you looking for?
Vague or superficial questions will yield vague or superficial answers. False information leads to false solutions.
use iwctl
ok, i will try. When I'm at home I try and let me know if it worked, I also forgot to say that I downloaded the slim version and that before on the installation screen I was able to use the internet without problems
why are you using black arch anyways
A friend told me that kali linux is shit, so it give me the idea to me to try black arch based on her recommendations.
why do you want to use kali/blackarch in the first place?
kali and black arch are shit for the same reason
in that theyre not shit
youre just not supposed to use them as a daily driver
or nmcli or nmtui those are more likely to be installed on DEs
ah ive only ever used iw because i always check "copy iso network config" in archinstall
spin them up in a vm or something when you want to pentest...
It's much safer.
plus if you want to use "one" or two of those tools you can anyways install them on archlinux or any vanilla distro
the intended use for kali/blackarch is you stick it in a vm and only boot it when you need it
yeah thats p much what im saying
I am a freshman ethical hacking student, I was recommended to use such an operating system as it saved me work on certain things
what os did you use before black arch
Sorry if my English is very bad, I'm using the translator haha
and what do you mean by "ethical hacking" student?
it's not a problem.
I'm doing a computer security course
you'll be much happier and you'll have better performance on your regular stuff without those distros.
because they pre-install a gazzillion tools that you will never use.
you can keep a vm for those stuff.
having a vm also allows for much freedom experimenting with stuff
they require us to have a dedicated computer for this
oh okay
I came back from school and the computer has connected itself, thank you very much for your time and help 🙂
