Hi! So I have a HiDPI 4k (3840x2160) monitor, which is currently connected on DP-0. I also have an additional display, HDMI-0, which is not 4k (1280x1024). When I turn on the global scaling in KDE plasma (200% to be exact), the second monitor, which is the smaller one, becomes almost unusable due to the fact that it scales along with the first monitor. How do I make xrandr scale the main monitor, but at the same time make the original scale of the second monitor? The scale of the main one should be 200% and the scale of the second one should remain original. The second (small) monitor is on the left.
I have tried following the guide from the Arch Wiki, but I can't quite get what I need to do exactly. Or it is just doesn't work because I have an Nvidia GPU (3070). Would appreciate any help.
My setup is a vanilla Arch linux with KDE Plasma and x11.
