I'm hoping someone might be able to assist me with a tech issue I'm experiencing. I have a D-Link USB WiFi Adapter Dual Band AC1300 Wireless Internet (D-Link DWA-121 rev B1 (2001:331e D-Link Corp. 802.11ac NIC)).

Unfortunately, when I try to use it with Linux (I've tried Arch, Mint, Zorin, and Kali), the operating system can't seem to recognize or utilize the adapter. Windows, on the other hand, works perfectly fine with it.

I have run a scan and confirmed that the adapter is properly plugged in, but some Linux systems identify it as an "Unknown Device." When I try to switch settings on ZorinOS, I receive an error stating that the locked file for the operation was removed or deleted.

I appreciate any help you may have to offer! Thank you. ❤️

if you just wanna cut to the chase, the commands to install it should be something like: sudo apt update sudo apt install -y dkms git build-essential mkdir -p ~/src cd ~/src git clone https://github.com/morrownr/88x2bu-20210702.git cd ~/src/88x2bu-20210702 sudo ./install-driver.sh
