#[SOLVED] Time and date acting really weird

as in the title, time and date is acting really weird, when turning on ntp the time is wrong, and instead of showing 10:58PM 04/29/23 for example, it shows 10:58AM 04/30/23 and I am not really sure why, when it comes to turning ntp off and trying to use a time zone the same as mine(I am at GMT-6 btw) it adds 6 hours to the rtc time instead of just showing the time at the current timezone or something, I'm not sure if this is skill issue or if there genuinely is something wrong with my system.

#

when I turned ntp on it set the rtc time to what looks like an arbitrary hour

Which ntp daemon did you use?

#

You should use chrony as it's pretty accurate
