1 - Do Ctrl + Alt + F2 (or f2 .. f9) to get into a tty
2 - Install a terminal ( if you don't have one i recommend alacritty)
3 - edit the hyprland config to load that terminal

In my config i have bind = $mainMod, Return, exec, alacritty

If you want to learn.
It's better start from scratch without using someone's dotfiles.
It's good read their dotfiles, you will know what you are doing.

If you just want to use it as ready made or less efforts, you dotfiles which provide script.
