Yeah, so whenever i start up literally any application in Gnome (Wayland), the entire shell seems to freeze for a second or two. That's annoying, and it also causes keyboard lag (#1081619293604692068), and i would like to stop Gnome from doing this. Is there a way?

this extension seemed to be the issue (which is sad because its so good at making overview better)
