61 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Nothing did interrupt, but i got your storage is full on the popup
Are you able to boot?
Try to manually mount it?
Yep mount it to /boot
Then reboot?
Can you send your /etc/fstab?
Yes
No no,
That's just for checking that the mounting works just fine.
Fstab actually mounts things automatically at boot
Can you also mount the windows one?
Yes
No results found
Cool. I think the arch installation guide has a brief how to use genfstab. If that's necessary.
Yes
👍 Just mention me.
Btw unmount sda1 from /mnt or genfstab will detect that too
Yes
did it work?
@grave arrow so i will iterate over the steps --
- cd /mnt
- mkdir linux and mkdir boot
- mount /dev/sda1 (boot) /boot
- mount /dev/sda5 linux/
- mkdir windows10
- mount /dev/sda3 windows10 (error here saying windows is hibernated)
- genfstab -U /mnt >> /mnt/linux/etc/fstab
Is this correct
Wait what the heck
It just works
Lmao what
I didn't even do anything
I didn't even generate the fstab
I was trying to shutdown windows 10 properly so i booted in win 10 and shutdown
wait!
you didn't have to use archlinux iso you could have done using the arch you installed.
yeah that solves 6
cool
reboot once more just to make sure
then
... solved
