systemd-boot is only able to boot from kernels that are on the same EFI partition or are in an Extended Boot partition

I'm trying to dual boot pop os and kali linux . POP! comes with systemd-boot, I don't know what and how I am supposed to do things.(I've only ever used grub.) I found this one suggestion from a post in stack exchange which I think will work but I need somebody to explain few steps, especially the last one.
