Full system backup suggestions? (Switching computers)

Hi! I am going to be switching to a different laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the best approach is for moving everything over? Ie is the only way to backup the system and then re-install arch on the other laptop, or is there a better way to pretty much get the exact install onto the other computer?

if you have a usb adaptor for the drive of your new laptop
you could plug it in your current one and copy everything to the new one

you can just dd it and change the systemd machine id

If you're feeling brave and have no usb adaptors, you can use NBD to make your disk appear as a block device on the other machine and copy it this way

Connect a external drive or NAS Ana send it over USB or whatever method of transfer
