This is currently in an environment with nothing much, still in the whole installation process but there is also a windows 10 install on the other drive if that matters

Before realising this issue, it was just going through the installation guide and the previous windows 10 installation just before

There is another recent thread with the same name which is great until there wasnt an actual solution shown but I did look there

lspci -k |grep -iA 2 network shows:

09:00:0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (rev 1a)
        Subsystem: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6 AX200NGW
        Kernel modules: iwlwifi, wl```

And pinging archlinux.org with `ping archlinux.org` gives `ping: archlinux.org: Temporary failure in name resolution` (Same error with trying to ping www.google.com)

Have you tried turning fast boot off in windows and your bios and shutting your pc down completely THEN booting into arch?

#

Having fast boot on commonly causes this problem with wifi drivers.

Fast boot has always been off

#

(Hope this image is good enough)

#

Interestingly enough, doing rfkill only shows bluetooth in the list

#

Which might be a pointer to whats the issue here

#

Doing ip link show wlan0 shows Device "wlan0" does not exist

#

We are on 2022.12.01 so maybe that could be the issue

Oh good news one of the many things Ive changed made it work

#

I still used rufus to make the installation media, but this time I did DD image mode instead

#

That might be the fix

I lied...

#

Maybe

#

wlan0 shows now, which it didnt befote

#

Ok thats probably due to me not doing the rest of the wifi stuff
