Xrandr not showing my monitor default screen resolution | Arch Linux Community | Page 1

I tried adding a new mode(or screen resolution to be exact) to xrandr, however when I try to switch to the new xrandr mode, my screen turns dark.
is there anyone who can help? I have a vga cable btw
