we desperately need some more mods, especially for a server with 8k members

to clarify, a lot of nsfw and rule breaking behavior can go under the radar for a while, and as noted by the mods multiple times, we need more mods. i made this thread mainly to keep track of progress on this, and not to suggest new mods, or argue about this, as afaik this has already been confirmed

Being a member or a mod should not be a popularity co test, so it’s nice some of you like me, but if I am not well suited then like or dislike me by all means talk to me (that user obviously doesn’t want to go that route) or the other mods about me. Like if my wife joined but started spewing homophobia I would ban her account (and divorce her)

I think bred's was first, and seeing other people copy it probably wasn't something you anticipated, but in peril and lynnie have been here a while, and one of you has been warned about tagging moderators (in this case one of you tagged me) in shit posts in server-meta

When I saw this, my reaction was this server, and specifically this thread. (My first was absolute comedy, as it's far too common on the Internet, but that's besides the point.)

Some are here for work (or hobbyist but still "work" related) support.

While the majority of mature people, and all reasonable people, support your individualism, we don't need to know what's between a 14 year old legs, and how you fantasize on using it (or it being used) and what you're doing with it. This is Arch Linux Community not eccentric/alternative/self-thinking lifestyle community
