Hey guys I am about to build and move to a new machine and want to make sure I do things right. I have a backup of my home directory is there anything else critical I should backup? Also the new rig has 2 1tb nvme drives I was thinking of having them mirrored boot drives but also thought about boot and / on one and /home on the other what are your thoughts?

you may want to back up some stuff in /etc, but doing the whole directory probably isn't needed

If you haven't touched much in there you may just be able to leave it

Okay. I grabbed fstab but will glance through and see if anything sparks memory

you'll want a new fstab

as the UUIDs will be different on the new system
