Do you have a live iso on a usb ?
Yes, I do
Ok can you chroot into your installation?
Probably, I’ll have to troubleshoot 2night as I’m busy
Alright well, when you chroot just @ me and i'll help you fix it
@toxic jolt I might be able to do it now
Okay
Send the output of locale and cat /etc/locale.conf
No problem, when you can do these commands
I might respond a bit late
So just send the output
That’s fine, many thanks
@toxic jolt also make sure that I’ve done the chroot correctly
shit, wait
Still get the same output
Okay, I’m looking at the wiki now
.aw chroot
Mount your root file system and your boot partition
To /mnt and /mnt/esp
esp being the mount point of your boot partition
im dual booting, i think i was in partition 5. but im not sure
I was doing that b4 i think my install is in nvme0n1p5
Because windows has more storage allocated to it
possibly, give me a min and ill see if i can confirm
Ok
yeah, it was this one - https://discord.com/channels/399812551963049995/1010269969063358605
@toxic jolt i think my boot is in p1
but im not sure
Ok mount /dev/nvme0n1p1 /mnt/boot
also. sorry for being dumb (in advance)
More errors :(. Probs doing it wrong
Alright let's do this instead
arch-chroot /mnt locale
and
arch-chroot /mnt 'cat /etc/locale.conf'
Sorry made a mistake in the second command
Fixed it
If u wanna ping it's fine
Then uncomment the line en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8
And save the file
After that arch-chroot /mnt locale-gen
it works, many thanks
