Within games certain keys are misconfigured, specifically 45 8 are instead [= ].
This happens regardless of my chosen keyboard layout. The keys that are detected in the games are from some sort of dvorak with the 3 modifications I mentioned above.
I've likely caused this when I was first configuring my linux, since I use a modified version of programmer dvorak (dvp) (I modified the /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/us file to modify the layout and it works normally) - this modified version is not the one detected in the games. The default keymap I use in the /etc/vconsole.conf is dvorak-programmer, which is also not the one detected in the games.
When I was trying to configure my typing keyboard layout I likely accidentally changed whatever configuration file is the one giving the layout used in the games, since the 458 being equivalent to [= ] is a small part of my personal configuration.
Does anyone knows what determines the layout that games generally use, since I would like to change it to qwerty and not just fix whatever I screwed up?
