"A password is required to access the ... volume"
is this your main pc?
or did you bought it somewhere?
and just placed it in, and booted it up.
because i think (i'm not an expert xD) there's set an password on the drive, like encryption.
did you enter an password in the installation?
maybe try that.
when you installed it
you must have entered an password somewhere
can you try using that?
"cryptium volume" do you know what it is?
i don't ๐
ohw, thats gonna be an problem maybe..
grub is installed?
is there any option like rescue mode?
so you can recover stuff
can you try it?
it allows you to access the system normally.
it's normally for grub i think..
if you broke the boot partition.
like if you remove the whole / directory ๐
you will get it, not really important to say but ehm you can recover your files with it.
eh i don't know how to recover files, or delete them
is there any stuff on the system?
like much files of you?
or just only the system itself?
i am originally an debian based user xd sorry
normally if i would run into an problem that it wont boot, i would reinstall, with manjaro its easier xd
but arch is ehm i wouldn't do it over...
and specially when you have stuff on it..
do you have an external drive?
or an other hard drive?
flash drives
are the apps really important?
because the best thing you can do, is cloning some stuff of important folders into the drive(s)
usr folders.
run the installer
and copy your files to another drive
but i never ran some important applications : |
i always stored my files into /root or /home/username
and not really other stuff
so i can't really help you further, sorry
