#9380 📣 Workaround if you have a NVMe device and keep getting issues:
- Manually partition your drive(s)
- Manually mount both /mnt/archinstall (root) and /mnt/archinstall/boot (boot)
- Run archinstall as usual
- Go to disk selection and press Ctrl+C (This aborts disk operations)
Then continue with your installation as per normal.
Apologies, the issue is being tracked here independent of symptoms: https://github.com/archlinux/archinstall/issues/1495
Have a look at this error message. It may tell you what went wrong and a clue how to improve the code https://youtu.be/XxIh-B4Ol1g Second install in same video worked again.
you probably don't need to ping people, most people should find their way back to their issue
also on top of this another way might be in the ISO just to do: pacman -Sy archinstall
that would upgrade the archinstall script as I believe a fix has been implemented now, but won't hit the ISO until the next ISO is released
partial upgrades
