extremely bizarre resolution bug

After setting my 2560p monitor to its proper resolution it began doing this... (video posted)

My other monitor is 1080p and it seems the 2560p monitor isnt fitting right and is over drawing and glitching. I dont really know what this issue is called so I dont know what to google.

I'm using nouveau driver with nvidia card. I3 wm, xorg, and everything is updated.

So far I've tried setting relative positions (which barely worked, stopped monitor 2 content from appearing on monitor 1). Other then that I'm at a loss.

I tried setting monitor 1 to other resolutions and it just gets stretched, no glitching

Update, even though the store page says this monitor can go up to 2560p the monitor settings says its max is 1080p. And at 1080p the image is fuzzy
