I've been having trouble setting up Chinese character input support with ibus on my arch installation, I've had this problem for months and nobody has actually done anything to help other than link articles on the wiki which don't help at all, some actual help would be greatly appreciated! (I am losing my sanity over this)

in KDE, it is recommended to use fcitx5for input method
