Getting this error, unable to connect to wifi and only a wired connection.

I tried following https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=137865 but when doing` ls /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-8265-* it returns directory not found

tried installing linux-firmware but that hasnt worked either so im unsure where to go from here

its fine tho i gave up and just reinstalled
