any left over config files perhaps?
i meant config files left over by cutefish
it's a possibility i guess
font-manager and lxappearance both have menus for configuring fonts
perhaps it's worth checking if anything there looks strange
i'd go into .config and nuke anything related to cutefish (or kde, since cutefish is based on that). there are probably some dirs related to fonts there
