Is it just me or "Exile The Weak" Doesnt work anymore after third use? It seems like everytime I play with adaptation, on third use, Exile The Weak doesnt reduce disease anymore. Even the yearly exam event only exile sick people but dont really reduce disease. Ive encountered this since pre-dlc. Can someone help?
#Adaptation Cornerstone "Only The Strong Prevail" Doesn't work

I think its somehow only event based. Does anyone got the same problem?
I think something similar happens with Levelling, it's meant to go down if you use it too many times quickly, but it never recovers
Levelling is fixed recently when the DLC came out. So im hopefully they actually noticed but cuz no one really use Exile, they dont notice the problems.
Welp
Due to the fact its incredibly easy to counter disease perhaps. But when i dont use hubs and gotta stick with Adaptation buildings, it became quite a problem with disease.
Wut, i use basically only adaptation buildings and don't use the overpowered hubs and i never have a problem with disease
I guess when all you have is your favourite toy is cornerstones everything looks like a nail
I used alot, like alot of them. And I dont do colony so i maintain alot of industry especially for Materials which gives alot of disease. And also, I mainly used the buildings slots for housing blocks or guards. And if you do Merit + Tradition, you dont get alot of disease fighting tools. So its sometimes a problem with Icebloods for me. Plus no special hubs. So I was planning to use the Exile button brutally (to also get the efficiency bonus). But it just doesnt work. And well, the cornerstone is there and its disappointing when it doesnt work as intended.
I have no similar problem with other Adaptation faction, mainly the Icebloods
Conservative treatment reduces disease more than experimental treatment also adaptation loves settlements it's progress that wants everything in house
I said colony, not settlements, i used settlements alot but Icebloods make too many people dead, so i cant really sustain. Also, yeah, conservative is good, but Reason has birthing programme and The Algorithm.
Anyway I wish you luck but i wish more luck on the people you're murdering for the crime of being sick
Never used either of em lol
Thats icebloods for you.
lmao. I mainly use colony with Progress because i have excess to deep drills.
Oh i mean birthing or algorithm
figure. Youre missing out. reason is really good at disease control and even population control.
Sterilisation > Public Execution
Yes I'm saying "you don't need colonies, adaptation should be going balls to the wall with settlements, they don't generate disease or anything like how city districts do"
Though it's different before you find the settlements
yeah, but Icebloods just killed off too many people. To control disease after the second use, i spam Grizzled medics just to control disease.
Like, perhaps it was a mistake to make too many Recast composite and Carrion Coal Liqui, but welp, I was planning to use Only The Strong Prevail to get the disease reduction. Also, Icebloods district is bugged and lost disease reduction when reloaded so kinda fucked up.
Yeah it's understandable if you pin your disease reduction on it and it doesn't work but also
Complaining about not enough people
Complaining about what happens when you push the button that gets rid of people
I wasnt really complaining, i was just stating reasons why i use the button. Poeple dying = cant build much settlements without deactivating several districts for the workforce. And well, "complaining about what happens when you push the button that get rid of people" Well, thats different, because the thing is, that button is broken and doesnt do anything which means its a literal bug which i have the right to complain about. (Not even exiling people but thats secondary).
So instead of working to build more settlement, i just double down on people dying, get the efficiency and make a sustaining city.
I think the only reason Exiling the weak works only on the first two use is because the disease decreasing effects may be triggers by pressing the
button and not the City ability itself.
Weirdly enough, the effect is there, but i think its the same case as Legionnaires where you the tooltip dont work as intended. Same goes for the exiling function itself. So i guess only the event button works and the City action dont work.
