my understanding of the process for getting a thread for your mod is pretty much to post things in #nsmb-showcase, tell the mods, theyll discuss if it fits the reqs or not, and theyll either give you thread perms or tell you you need more progress. considering the variety of hack types there can be which vary in scope i dont expect any hard-and-fast rules for getting these perms but i think
- a vauge sorta outline of whats expected demonstrated by some hypothetical examples, and
- more specific expectations that the mods have come up with given when you make a thread request and you dont meet the requirements (e.g., "this isnt up to snuff yet, but once you do x y and z ask again n we'll give you a thread")
would be useful in making things more clear
