So export the dae, and open in an new sketchup project
Or open it on blender, and on blender you export it as an .dae again
And put on the converter gui
And if it dont work i have one solution
Export it as an obj (sketch up need to have .mtl files suport to export an mtl too) and convert it by mario kart ds course modifier
I recomend trying the 2nd option first

My recomendation is that when you're making levels, take as much time as you want so you can make good quality levels

i replaced the old silouette effect which required to stack 8 times the sprite 325 retextured in black, by will smith's code hack, except that some stuff doesnt have the silhouette effect now

maybe place the spike on a slightly elevated semi solid platform so it faces no insta death, and the spike ball can still run under it? (Unless itโs meant to die and merely exists as decoration)
its more to introduce the player to say "hey this levels will have spikes, they can kill you and other enemies so you gotta avoid them"
And its death is there to remind other spikes not to mess up the same way

you could always try this neat tool called figma (better for fancy stuff such as mockups and thumbnails)

i can still make an extra segment, slightly harder than the other segments of the levels, before the secret flagpole, like i did in 1-2 tho
well i mainly mention unhidden/boring because its relatively obvious what to do to reach it and easy enough to do so, but you sorta just have to wait for it to happen

In my hack i will change the things order a bit, instead of the bosses being on castles/ships, they will be in towers, and bowser jr will be in ships
if you ever want a modded bowser jr fight, I have a lot of code for so many diffrent things that I can give you
I still havnt made him through bombs yet though
now instead, i made the swinging pendulum tilt less, and 2 "4 rotating platforms" with grounded fire piranha plant shooting fire

the castle boss are harder than bowser jr tho, but yeah in airships, bowserjr fits more imo
so i'd say buff bowser jr, or make the fight hard in some way (either with bowser jr's settings or by adding other enemies)
the best bit about bowser jr is that you can easily make him larger as his colider size scales with his model
I have spent like 60 hours messing around with bowser jr lol, Its kinda exiting to share my knowladge on the cursed ass actor

alright so i did a small test
i replaced the bowser fight with the mega goomba fight (replacing w1-
area 3 with w4-
area 2)
and i kinda "buffed" it to see how it would be
remember how in the original game, there was a (somewhat unintended) method where the player could wall-jump instead of pressing the switch and standing on the screw mushrooms?
well now thats the only way to damage the boss lol (walljumping)
and i put spikes where the switch was, which makes it a bit more difficult
Interesting, I always beat mega goomba that way, lol
That way you can beat him in 5 seconds
its a bit harder in my hack but yea
I thought about a way to make this boss a bit harder that I plan on implementing in my hack

i decided that the bossfight arena would use the "red" palette of the castle tileset i made
the thing is that im not quite sure animore about making the player use wall jumps to beat the boss (mega goomba)
Well, NSMB bosses are way too easy, and we'll always try to figure out some ways to make them harder

You know this animated unused lava tile from the Castle tileset right? What if you replace that Lava Tile with a torch and edit the Lava animation? It's located in the ROM File Browser Tab

Be careful though, the lava animation is in the same file that the conveyor belts and the Top BG torches animation, and they share the Tileset palettes, I'd suggest editing the images and importing them back with the existing palettes

1-Castle is practically finished. I just need to apply a code hack to place podoboos 1/2 tile right, and to configure the bg scroll code hack. and also modify the goomboss fight a bit
