i think you should stick to only 1 of both
i feel like combining the hills and the mountains also feels redundant or clashing
and the stars are not in front of the sky which doesn't make much sense
also the top left level's path looks a bit uncentered but that might be due to the perspective
like 50% of things will be transparent ๐ญ
and they will be differently coloured

Would it be possible to have the jump where Mario raises one arm with his knees up, I'm referring as the jump in game. Like in the video that jpg sent in minute 0:26 for example it's just Mario's body going up without him moving.
