im actually updating the textures rn
you need to go to the object data attributes, then in color attributes add one, name it ‘Col’, make it face corner and byte color, and make the color white
from there go to vertex paint mode in the object and paint wherever
and if it wasn’t obvious you need to change the material to be vertex colored or textured + vertex colors
big thanks, i never done that yet so i needed to ask lol
(I recommend enabling wireframe in the object settings so that you know where you’re painting)
also if u can’t do vertex colors properly you can always just make an object with a transparent texture to make a shadow, which is what i did for some things (the fully circular shadows in my wm)
and when exporting, export at 1.000 imd size
i'd suggest to make the mountain texture repeat itself at a different rate than the bushes texture

just giving some feedback for the underground tileset:
- you should add more kinds of bg tiles. and i'm not fully sure if those fit
- the bg tiles you used imo should have less contrast, and be a bit darker overall
- the inner ground tiles imo should be a bit darker
- make the hue slightly shift the more colors are lighter/darker. you can do that with a color curve (if you use something else than a curve it might look ugly!!)
- adding more colors overall. this looks extremely monotonous
- add deco tiles because apart from the bg tiles (which could be improved) this looks really empty
I doubt it's meant to be Boykisser (my beloathed)

the grass texture looks weird as if it was an obvious square pattern. also i felt like there was that extra grass that connects a cliff to the wall below it, which is not here anymore
