I exported the same animation at 60 frames, didn't work and tried 40 max and it worked
If i dont do this the animation get limited to 40 frames too
After the last frame, the animation looks like as if it's frame 0 again (position, scale etc.)
But when I did more
60 frames
The animation stopped at 40 and the models would snap back to the positions set at frame 0

@remote star Have you ever tested the game on real hardware? When I played the demo on my DS, the first level wouldn't start or started very slowly and was unfortunately unplayable. On the emulator, however, everything ran smoothly.

i'd suggest adding some higher plateaus as some sort of deco (they also add more depth), kinda like the vanilla game's map

Small plot for the small blossom stars:
Bowser jr is carrying the stars in his airship, He have 5 stars, theres in total 6 of those wich he distributed with koopas and such (unfortunatelly i will not use nsmb bosses cuz its crashing, if i fix ill use) the biggest one, the most powerfull was with bowser, the second most powerfull got lost in a scary forest crashed, the airship was populated with koopa crew, wich everyone died, and the forest now is not only scary but haunted (thats why theres the boos, eeries, dry bones and such) and some mecha koopas that now are lost in the badlands, for w3, the airship and now the star is on in the airship, but the world is guarded by a tower, that is the only way to w4, so mario need to take over it and go to w4 to progress the journey, on w2, the star is not on the airship, but in a train, that bowser jr is in it, he have the least powerfull star, but he's using it to use the starbill express without any fuel (the train was abandoned in the hot n cold caldera of the island) wich he tryied to use to go to w3 and make life harder for mario, since he was going to have 2 stars) on w1, the pink star is on the tower, wich is actually a Temple of the village (that is povoated with friendly shy guys and other enemies, but every one of them got controled by petey to go against mario and everyone who tried to enter their village on w1 and w3)

Simplified version: bowser jr stole the stars, gave the stars to everyone and the mosr powerfull to bowser, one of the airships with a star crashed, everyone died, they haunted the forest, the star is lost in the badlands, one star is on w3 airship, another one is being used to give power to a broken train, and anothee one is in a tower and is being used to mind control everyone in the island

also i would suggest actually making a separate texture for the top of the ground. it seems like you just reuse the side texture in your worldmaps for some reason

i'd suggest making the mountains blend with the ground (for example with a gradient or by placing (billboard?) rocks around them)

for example in w4 it's above some poison lake with mostly flat ground. in w3 you go up a mountain, and in w1 (for now) it's a plain similar to the vanilla game wmaps, with a few height variations

since the bottom ones have more than 1 colour
and it will look just bad

i really think that this bg and overall graphics is too blue...
also, you can definitly make the moon have some antialiasing ro something
only the foreground should look less saturated bbtw

I definitely feel the volcano mountains aren't needed here
They look very off, there's like three layers of BG's here, night, mountains and volcano, which doesn't really look good, and it can also be a bit distracting
This world is suposed to have waterfalls
i mean, imo it's 50/50, and don't feel like it will be bad in game, it just needs to be right positioned and changed a bit for it
Is ssmb being completely ds-fied?
In that case I would strongly recommend to to add the world 6 mountains in the bottom background instead of merging them with the volcano mountains Β―_(γ)_/Β―
@remote star I fixed your asimetrical (i hate that word) moon + changed those colour (+ colours of that waterfall a bit to more lighter blue, if it's bad i can give you the normal version with just brightness up

Nsmbe was making the tiles the same but compressing the colors
Dirbaio tiler did the same but without compression

There's no reason to use Dirbaio's tiler nowdays when NitroPaint exists

Nsmbe sometimes dont compress nothing, sometimes it does the colors and sometimes the tiles, dirbaio tiler sometimes commpres tiles, and np rarelly compress anything
i feel like the dirbaio tiler gave worse results than nsmbe π
