also the coin sprites are lighter than the regular coin sprites. to fix this, you could either use ONLY regular coin tiles OR sprites, or you could still use both but change the "z layer" setting for the coin sprites, when there aren't any deco tiles behind

Making silhouette levels is different than making regular levels, you should design them in a way so that the silhouette mechanic makes sense, they don't need to be overdecorated

a lot of those small things I point out do really hurt the experiance imo
I believe its important to point them out so the hack can be improved
The backgrounds here don't fit because of the color, they don't match
This level is peak, the big black hole in the background makes the enemies in this world look like it's invading marios universe.
The train and airship levels reminds me of the invasion episode from smbx
4-3 though is a bit confusing, there was a huge wall that stopped illys momentum and only looked like she would have died if she didn't have the acorn power up
And than it just disappeared, I know it's ghost themed but j don't really see why it's there
After the checkpoint when you enter the red pipe, that's also something looked impossible to survive without the acorn power up
And the poison rises up so you are already doomed at the start because your first playthrough you will never see it comming
The asteroids in the background doesn't match the ones in the level. They aren't the same color
Also very cool custom power ups! Maybe in the release you could make levels that requires you to use them to get Star coins?
Sure I said the theme doesn't fit but you did an awesome job making it look great

The solid on top tiles could look much better if you changed the colour to more like dark brown red
Imo, background could have the sky have a gradient too, just so it wouldn't be so boring but that's my opinion

But seriously JPG, you should really look into what's causing the crash, many people probably won't be able to play your hack once you release it
cause the code still expects there to be an extra shell model
replace the models with nuked nsbmd's π§
true... but maybe that extra model is what's causing the crash in the first place
