Well, there's a code hack that allows you to use 256 colors for the worldmap graphics, the only issue is that if you already edited all of the worldmap graphics, you'll probably have to re-edit them again, since they get corrupted after inserting the code hack

Those wheels and munchers are possible to animate without the animated tilesets? I mean, with something like nld did for the purple coin (a nsbtx)
iirc meromero made some animated munchers for a desert tileset by replacing the quicksand animation
ztardust did something similar by replacing the lava animation
so if push comes to shove perhaps you could replace an existing animation
The problem is that the munchers are in 2 tilesets

As tedious as it is, I always recommend drawing those graphics directly in NSMBe rather than importing images, the latter tends to break the graphics very easily

You can manually change the colors in the palette by Ctrl + click them
You can also hex edit the NCL files, but that's more complicated, I think DM knows more of this than me

probably got changed to world 6, but world 6 is the island with multiple themes, so the "erased dimension" theme might not have been kept, but the levels are most likely the same

Its a level with rain, and it will have a storm bg, with blue rocks instead of yellow ones, the level will have angry bouncy clouds (damadge the player) and will be the only level with bouncy shrooms (they're the bouncy clouds in my mod)

Oh yeah, you could still add the bouncy cloud with the bouncy behavior, and add some "harmful on all sides" tiles behind the cloud, that way you would have harmful bouncy clouds without needing code

On w1 i replace level 1-A as 1-tank, and make the level called "shuriken armada" the level would have shuriken bros, the tanks would be pink, and instead of cannon balls they would throw shurikens
For that i would use actor 46
That is the shuriken in ssmb
Idk if that will turn into a actuall level, but would be a fun concept

Ok guys, Quick question, what yall think of me doing that thing i said yesterday of the purple nodes in w4? I would do that, it would solve the bug with goombatlas and would look good
its better to remove the purple nodes and just have the normal node colors
But that would be weird because since its on the map model they would be always blue/red nodes
it could be a nice touch to have purple nodes to replace the blue nodes to fit the sakura theme imo
