For now it dont have anything (since the one with the score had some problems) so i asked nld to make a actual counter for this

I think that this house need to be always visible alongside with the house, so the player only unlocks the node
the house is hardcoded to only appear when the game is beaten at least once i think
the path and the node/map point however, seem to be hardcoded to only appear in the same conditions, ONLY if the map point is set to the blue house kind of "map point" (the regular toad houses use another kind of "map point" for each kind of toad house, but they all share the same graphic in-game)
if you ask me how i know that, well, i tried editing the map in my old hack "nsmb ds deluxe (goofy hack)"

the fun part about single bone aramtures is that the models can work even if you leave it out

The whole airship will need to be a background actor

I means that it will go behind the tileset, and the ship itself will not going to have colision, only follow the player until the almost end of the level when the airship will fly away from the screen, and the level end will not going to have subnohara, only a flagpole and a signboard with a cannon icon
(The flagpole will be broken, since the player will go to the go through a warp and apear inside the ship)

honestly yea, i think you should try to make use of what's already in the game, instead of constantly wanting to make something new
there are a lot of cool elements in the game, and tons of combinations that haven't been done before. that could be very interesting to play around with in the editor

as i made most of the level no go ahead
my thoughts
- name feels unfitting since theres no sign of any ice
- once again id advise removing the decorations placed above holes
- theres too many secrets clustered into that one area right at the beginning of the level (sakura coins 1 and 2, plus the secret exit)
- the secret pipe lacks any indication that its there really
- the porcupuffer, water, and lava in the sub areas feels unfitting
- the warp to the cave area feels sudden and awkward
- some rexes could be placed better (mainly those near the end of the level)
- its easier to get the third sakura coin than it is to avoid it
- the level is too short
overall feels like an ok enough level, and it looks nice aesthetically speaking. i think spacing things out would solve a lot of the issues i have with it (like length, the clustering of secrets, maaaybe the abrupt cave transition)

Almost every secret exit is very hidden in most of mario games
I just watched the level and I agree with most od DM's points, star coin 1 & 2 are too close from each other, the porcupuffer feels so random, the lava area is unfitting, the transitions between the outside and underground areas feel unbalanced, the trees in the void aren't that bad but they could misslrad players, the exit pipe from the porcupuffer area feels randomly placed, and there are some minor tiling errors (i.e., there's a tree that is cut by a pipe, and you placed a horizontsl pipe near the ground which makes it look like it's cropped)
Idk about the secret exit, but imo, it doesn't feel very intuitive
The lava is because of 2-A
for point 4 im refering to the pipe to the porcupuffer sub area to be clear
tho i do feel similarly about the secret exit sub area pipe
but i didnt mention anything as i figured the whole clustering of secrets thing was affecting that
id be less likely to look for secrets if there were two right of the bat i feel so maybe spacing those out would make me more inclined to check for a secret pipe if i were playing

Thats the point for the 2 secrets on the same area, its like some newer wii levels, and its actually similar to some stuff nintendo do

About the level being short, yeah i agree, but its not a problem tbh, since the level is good and fun to play
at the end, the platforming seems to be quite difficult
you have to make long jumps and use the spin jump
sometimes the terrain is also weirdly shaped, making it harder to jump
a short level can be fine, but i think in this case its leading to problems (like the clustering and things feeling abrupt or too soon)
oh also something i noticed after a rewatch is perhaps some of the coin trails could be repositioned a touch
some seem like theyre a bit low

youre never really given a chance to take in any of the 3 areas since youre taken to the next so soon

that being that latter two here could prolly be nixed in favor of maning the first area longer
