For some reason bowser and bowser jr turned into ligth shadows (all white) and the other models are normal, only both turned into ghosts

I need some way to make the game read the 5-castle as 8-
and make sure it will not going to unlock w6, only the toad house in w1

- move everything from world 5, to world 8
It seens hard to make w8 a space world and the levels would not fit in, also theres no way of me making w3 go to w8 without cannon, so the only option is code hack

Not really, its because its the esiest way to recreate the star from smw for the w1 for teleporting for the special world

i just noticed something with this volcano: one of the faces is only one-sided, and because of that, we see through the volcano. i'd suggest to put something on top (acid or smth)

Have you tried splitting the tileset into 4 palettes?
Idk how to do it
Resize the image to 256x448 and make a duplicate layer of your tileset 4 times, delete some different objects in each palette in a way so you have different objects per palette, and save the image
Then, grab a tileset that has 4 palettes (i.e. Beach blue) edit it and click "Import all bitmaps with all palettes"

and especially i think its better to make your own tilesets instead of using ported ones (+they're overused :p)
And you could still make custom tilesets in NSMBWii/U artstyle if you wanna keep that style

making custom tilesets might not be that hard, if you learn more about modelling and rendering
i think something that is good is maybe taking parts of it but still try making your own thing
and after rendering the tileset that you have modeled, you will have to fix some stuff with gimp or photoshop

though after that you are proud of it
but in the end, it's gonna be in the DS-style, which fits better and is more unique
and it can sometimes give a really unique look, which is important, feels fresh, and also shows that genuine efforts have been put into the hack

though i think the ds style is not necessary. take a look at Mr Ztardust's tilesets, or mine (the grassland one specifically). they're not really ds-styled, though they work well

I also wanted the bossfight to be something like if the player If it takes a long time to kill the boss, the level will start to disappear, random tiles break and become darker, indicating that the black hole is destroying the level, and if the player dies to the blackhole you get a game over independent if you have 1 or 99 lifes

It's fine if you get inspiration from other people's work, but only if you only take inspiration and also come out with your own ideas and twist. (and maybe it will be different enough). Otherwise that's pretty much stealing
And try to stop stealing other people's assets/ taking and using literally every single asset from every rom hack (or every asset that is posted here)
I feel like that you definitely have the potential to find very good ideas tho, so try and keep going
It's not something that is done instantly, it takes some time. It took me weeks, heck probably months, to find out some of the world themes i would use for example
It's better anyway to come up with something new instead of copying, because one could just play the other hack instead. Also I never liked people porting levels from other games to release it as a rom hack.

You canβt really do the art style justice at DS res tbh. A big part of the NSMBu art style are these βconfettiβ like patterns that are present on every NSMBu tileset. They get entirely lost when ported to Wii or smaller.

idk if you can spawn a mario actor/clone with the actor spawner, tho you can definitely place a mario clone if you use a code hack to fix the crash. and most importantly, you need another code hack to make it so luigi's clone can spawn too

It would need to destroy the clone when you exit the area, i would use it for a idea that i had for a bonus room lol
he used the vine block with a mario clone in it
it doesn't "destroy" the clone when you go to another area, the game just forgets that its there i think
with 3 code hacks you can make functional clones that will work like the double cherry (tho kinda buggy)
however, for the power up to get "enabled", you might need to use the actor spawner, tho im not sure if it would work
