i think you should polish the colors of the textures a bit. instead of making sharp black lines, make something that somewhat blends with the rest and that gives a more 3d look

Itโs not like they are actively seeking out DS mods to shit on. Itโs just, JPG posts it in a U server, they give their feedback and opinions on porting tilesets, JPG posts more progress, they again give their opinion on porting tileset, and the cycle repeats
This isnโt true btw. Porting actors between games (with the appropriate model change if necessary) is highly encouraged. There was an attempt a porting Torpedo Teds into Wii that was very well received.

first, export the nwav files that have data in them, and make sure to keep the same numbers.
then replace them with blank files.
after that, open EveryFileExplorer, create a folder listed AFTER the one with the nwaves in it (very important or else nitro wav can break) and insert at least 20 blank files
after that, save and go to nsmbe. replace one of the 20 blank files, and reimport the nwaves to their proper spots

Remember the files i imported yesterday over the world map models? Well, the models were a boomerang, a copy of the sakura suit helmet of mario n luigi and the sakura suit shell, and i retextured those that i imported to the game for blue, since the mod will have also the boomerang flower, so i will have the pink variant (shuriken plant) and the blue variant (boomerang flower)
Im really happy with this tbh lol
And my hack will be the first one with the boomerang flower in

To pick it you will need to align the 2 cannon balls, and jump down, stomp on the 1st cannonball, do a spin, jump on the 2nd cannon ball and do some spins until you reach the platform, idk if you can just jump on the cannonbal and grab the iron bat tho

you said "defeat bowser in world 8"
but (by fixing a bug with a code hack) you can make it so you can fight final bowser in any level, which should trigger the credits.
so there's a difference about having to simply beat final bowser, or do it in world 8, or marking 8-
as completed, which are 3 different things
and so we still dont know if it gets unlocked with the credits or by beating 8-
or maybe it checks the same flag in the save file as the one for the first file star
