It ends up being no different to using the mario/luigi pallets, the original model is unloaded so its not wasting vram and then a new player model is loaded to replace mario/luigi, since yoshi uses luigi's palate but with some colours changes its the exact same as playing as luigi. Although not wasting 2kb of ram on that palate would be nice tbh

I think so, when an actor gets linked to the player to be carried the position of the actor is the position of a bone or something, so it’s probably important to have the animation be named the same
probably the bones are ordered alphabetically and so they get an ID assigned starting from 0

wrong rotation often causes mesh to be very very thin
the head of the bones looks up in player's model iirc, it doesn't face you

I don't really see the problem with the level, I really like the way it's structured and designed, though, as Fuzzy said, it wouldn't hurt to zoom out a bit more
And you don't necessarily need the P-Switch for the third star coin, you could destroy those bricks with the parashell, but it's fine in case players could lose it

Okay so, overall the level is pretty good, but it needs some tweaks. First of all, I feel like using zoom sprites could be nice here, considering the level is quite open compared to most others, and also because when watching the video I was confused about where the player had to go. Maybe also add arrows for that.
then there's also some small stuff:
1st image: that ground tile should be a "slope edge" tile. we can see the shell bounce
2nd image: the camera is too low here, maybe put vertical scroll stop sprites on the bottom, though keep in mind that you might also make the camera limit (seems to be the top of the view here) higher.
N++SMB. reminds me of Super Mario NightFall
its really easy to miss a few tiles tbh

I had an idea for a level
icey water which slowly freezes the player
so what I would do it draw a model to the top screen when the player enters the water and slowly zoom in and increase the models opacity when the player is in the water
if the model reachs 31 opacity, the player dies
oh thats nice
ANd thats the score replacment done

Yeah, that was a template I whipped up for fuzzy, as the exit level stuff isnt the simplest stuff, there is still a problem that the players powerup state isnt saved upon exiting the level
but everything else is fine

The bncl.xml from the editor ur sent with the cannon actor was missing, i managed to get it back, if you want i can sent the xml for u

The file should of had additional actorids going up to 1000 that were all unknown
