This is probably one of my least favorite levels I have made so far

Cause as is it kinda looks like a floodlight is coming from the camera
It's pretty easy to edit the stage light position, I just don't know what setting you'd use to make the game switch to your lighting
I could use one of those hose unused view setting
I would need to set up a pointer or smth to them as there is nothing for them in the code reference
keep in mind that the unknown parameter 2 is used for the rotating rooms in bowser's castle
the lighting table is at 020c2544 if you wanna mess with it
nice level but I think the coins and koopas could be toned down just a little bit

sure, I dont really like the level anyways, and there was ment to be some more scroll stops to make it look better but they crashed the game bc nsmb is weird
- i think the flower over the pit (~0:53 in the vid) should be removed since it implies theres ground down there
- vertical ascention section after checkpoint seems a bit underdecorated, camera there seems a bit odd too (im guessing the whole scroll stop thing relates to this)
- structure at ~1:50 seems too huge imo
upon rewatching the video, i noticed that, near the checkpoint, a top of the slope made the mushroom go to the other direction, meaning the top of the slope was solid instead of being a "slope edge" tile
Me having idea for levels that i wanna make but not having the tile sets to make the levels
maybe i should use some mariowii/u tie sets so i can actauly make the hack lol

they are a different art style which makes them stand out

- the gimmicks used in the other finished tower levels
world three is beach and parallel beach
and the only other finished tower level used moving shapes

Conisdering that World 3 is a paralell beach world, you could make a Tower where when you get to the midway point, you have to go all the way down, and the Tower is upside down

the worst part is when I copy shit over to the new rom, some of the files that dont have proper names get mixed around then the model loading gets stuffed up
Bowser jrs settings were being painful so I ended up hardcoding the music stuff to the level
its only for the final boss so it doesnt matter, its just not the way I like to do things

A tried & true method is a "pinch mode"
Technically just a phase two, but it 's more of a sharp difficulty spike
Maybe, for example, Monety Tank could shoot bonzi bills on his last hit
a "pinch mode" seems pretty good ngl 😅
