#Racing games with good offline AI?

Any recommendations on this? arcade game or a sim doesn't matter. I just want good ai that actually race you side by side, maybe even sometimes rub your car but not outright pit maneuver you and rubberband ahead. Any AI that's not glued to a predetermined racing line is a win in my book.
