Hewo, starting this journal to document all my maintenance and mods

I bought my M3 on a whim, which was located on the other side of the country and was selling for $8,000 with 200,000mi. I figured, “why not make a trip/mini-vacation out of it”

Booked a flight on Tuesday, flew out that same week Friday night after getting off of work.

Seller picked me up out of ATL airport, sold me the car and went on my way.

Car as it sits currently:
•Manual
•Slicktop
•Big3 Done
•Ohlins R&T Coilovers
•Style 67 18x9 +26
•3D Printed Intake

The car sat in my messy garage for two weeks until I could get it smogged. First order of business for me was to get the car back to its OEM configuration visually, as there was no issues with the Engine/Chassis that needed to be addressed.

OEM kidney grilles, Lenses, Signal lamps, and reflectors
installed and improved on the previous parts

Also repaired the door locks

Baby update:

Got baited into a manual swap (which was unnecessary and I still kind of regret) and also had the Big3 done.

Cluster took a doodoo on me so I had to get that repaired (ouch)

And I repainted some moldings and they came out P fresh.

06/11/2024:
Here’s what happened since then
•Ohlins R&T installed on vehicle
•Square Style 67s installed wrapped with MPS4S
•3D printed intake

Pretty self explanatory.

07/16/2024:

Car is currently getting its front and rear bumpers repainted due to clear coat failure. I figured since the car is going to have some downtime I may as well get the wheels refinished in a color way I’ve always wanted to have.

Small little update. Decided to do some small things to it, noticed these wiper blades where chipped after 22 years of highway driving so I decided to give em a refresh.

Here’s how the car is sitting at the moment (please excuse blurry photos, was trying to experiment with a new manual lens I got). i have a few goodies being imported from the United Kingdom so hopefully they’ll be here in a month or two! Back into the garage it goes for now for some needed maintenance
