In 2013, I started looking for a manual rear wheel drive car, and I fell in love with my FRS. Here's a pic from it on the lot in May 2013.
The car was daily driven during summers for several years. I would usually buy some cheap beater for the winter and toss the car in the spring. So I quickly put some miles on it the first couple of years.
In April 2014, I finally got bitten by the mod bug and bought wheels and tires.
By the end of June 2014, I had installed SPC RLCAs, lowering springs, ferodo DS2500 pads, OFT, and painted the tails and installed a BRZ spoiler that I plastidipped black. That September I installed a OpenFlash Header.
I drove it for over a year on the lowering springs before I decided to move to coilovers in an attempt to have the car ride better. I was told one set was on sale but when I got to the shop, the sold me a cheaper set at the same price. Shortly after, I added a Greddy SP Elite axle back exhaust to add a bit of an exhaust note.
In October I went to a dyno day with some friends and set the lowest numbers for the day 
Following this, I decided to turbo the car over the winter and started amassing all the required mods and supporting mods.
But right when it came to be time to install everything, I got worried about blowing the motor and sold nearly everything.
In July 2017, I wanted to change up the build a little while keeping it NA, so I installed a 2017 intake manifold, Verus fuel rails and grimmspeed intake to liven up under the hood. And I changed the header out for Ptuning’s EL header, as well as the OP and a JDL catted and resonated front pipe.

In September 2017 I changed the axelback out for a CSG MXP catback and added a Verus diffuser (which has been off the car for a while and needs reinstalled)
In 2019 I got the dreaded P0018 CEL. I changed the OCVs around and the sensors too. I had the cam gears changed but that did not fix it either. I lost all motivation on working on the car and pretty well let it sit for 2019.
In July of 2020, I took a leap and ordered a used ECU on ebay and that cleared my CEL troubles.
In June and July 2021, I added 17+ tails, changed out the terrible original Scion radio and installed an armrest.
That August I replaced my well worn out HSD coilovers with CSGs FLAs, as well and changed out my rotors and pads.
This year I’ve once again changed out my header, this time for JDLs 4-2-1 long tube header, installed a Raceseng Stratose shift knob and a SARD replica spoiler.
Lots of other big changes coming this year though
