Starship is a completely new vehicle which has never been flown except limited suborbital flights (most of which it failed)

Its very unlikely to survive imo

I've been following this vehicle since the moment it was announced at IAC 2016. That was six and a half years ago. I was around for the ITS test tank tests at the beginning of high school. I was following when Starbase sprung up from a marsh in South Texas and tried to show my few half-interested friends in the high school cafeteria. I was watching when Starhopper made its first hops and the SN prototypes belly-flopped in my junior and senior years. I'm two years into college now, and it's here. I don't even know what to say, it's just surreal. This thing has been coalescing in the background of my life for so many years and it's finally going to launch. It's like waiting to go to sleep on the night before your graduation, it's just such a strange and solemn feeling of finality. Like you've seen so much up to this point and now it's just... complete.

Yes, I know that this is only the first, and that there's far more ahead, and that I'll probably scrub or fail tomorrow. But it still just feels like... the closing of a chapter. You don't get many places in life where you can outright pinpoint that.
