~2km rear aspect, pretty much anytime you can lock front aspect, the missile doesnt really pull off the rails so make sure it takes at least 1 second between you and the target

Because of how the missiles IRCCM works you want to launch it from the side, usually about 2 km. Direct rear aspect and head on are the worst places to launch because they’re the easiest to avoid. Just use a radar missile in a head on or guns.

Also using the HMD and radar can help to get a lock depending on the jet.
