Sound settings

I have a problem with the sound.
So for example, while in last battle i heard rooikat on my left side, while he was on right side. Then i heard enemy tank literally next to me, but instead they were behind
My sound setting is auto,idk what am i doing wrong..

Sounds in this game is just trash

I was flying right next to a teamate and it sounded like he was behind me
