Just recently got the su-27 and i just cant seem to get the hang of the r73, any tips?

it's an all aspect 3.5/11km 2.5M 40G thrus vectoring 6TNTkg uncaged radar slavable ECCM flare resistant AAM
it has zero drawbacks
it's a little slow if anything, but hardly enough to cause an issue
and yes it can be flared some of the time, but it's more flare resistant than like any non IRCCM missile
unless you're trying to make shots outside of its lock range it should always catch up, 2.5M isn't all that fast but it gets like 30 seconds of guidance
it's just a really good missile so idk what help there is to give
lock someone and fire it, lead them if you like, although they rarely need it with 40G thrust vectoring
they might flare it, that's the case with any IR missile
and radar missile you can notch or sometimes chaff
