Single engine fighters are meant to turn fight. But as most Dual Engines Fighters Or Long Winged Aircraft like the BV155. They Are Used As Bomber/High Altitude fighters. But When Single Engined Fighters Say BF-109 Get Up To bomber height the air resistance is much higher and they cannot turn for shit. In Turn Go High An Hunt Bombers.

Or You Can Go High And Dive Said Like The P-61C as it has an airbrake

So twin fighters are in 95% of the cases less maneuverable than single engined fighters, as there is more mass. This means that, in most cases, you are not going to outroll or -turn a single engine. You usually have more firepower, and are sometimes faster. Play them fairly conservatively, as you are at a disadvantage immediately.

Thanks for the advice. Any tips on flying the Do 217 N1. I'm noticing it always get outclimbed by other planes and its controls lock up even with 0% engine while diving.

Honestly most twin engines are, there is few that are alright due to speed and climbrate they have, but that's not in german tree

If you do choose to play german twin engines, you will have to play them very opportunistically. Try to avoid any 1v1s at all cost, stick close to mates, 3rd party anyone you see, and if you see a chance for a kill GO GET IT
