Do people like the M4A1 (76)? Or prefer the M4A2 (76)?

Do people like the M4A1 (76)? Or prefer the M4A2 (76)? I kept getting killed instantly in the A2 from a part of the map that had gone unprotected, killed from the first bomb dropped and every single poor play punished. So mostly bad luck probably. Soon as you get a few upgrades on it though it's great! getting some great flank kills now. Was wondering if the M4A2 (76) might be just as good but a little quicker, or is the higher BR not worth it? For RB

it plays basically the same way, both have shitty armour at that br, both stabilised, both have decent mobility, both have no top speed, both have the exact same gun

the change in br is basically mandatory in order to have a lineup

theres literally nothing else at 4.7

Yeah just got the Chaffee and some planes. I’ve been getting by ok to be honest

dude, if you dont even have a proper 4.0 lineup then dont play 4.7

The 4.7 lineup is pretty nutty if you have the t14, otherwise go 5.0 witht he m6a1 and t1e1, But the m4a1 76 is INCREDIBLY good.

Just generalising sorry lol. I’ve got more than that in the line up at 4.7 but that’s mainly what I use. I’ve got a 4.0 line up yeah.

@fast relic SB2C-4 and Corsair or Hellcat. Not decided between those two yet, both seem good. Love the Helldiver, it’s great, spaded quick.

I was tempted to use all my extra respawns on the M4A1 76 to mitigate the lack of a line up. I don’t like T14 as it was just a prototype but I might get over that 😂

I’ve not had any issues with Chaffee at 4.7, it’s great. Just a tad slow after being so use to the puma

Got the M4A2 and M10 for 4.0 and below but I find them pretty miserable to use. Much rather use the Chaffee and get some flank kills and caps

M4A2 in my experience has a worse engine than the M4A1. Also, the 76mm Shermans are the way to go. The guns perform similar to the Soviet 85mm, but the better mobility of the T34 chassis grants it a major advantage.

Yeah I'd defo go T34, that tank is OP for how I'd use it but I don't wanna use Soviets at the moment, so M4A1 it is. I might do the Swedes or buy the German captured T34 at a later date. The USA planes are cool though

Soviets are only OP if you hit the corners where the armor sections meet one another. Otherwise they are free kills.

T-34 armour and especially KVs can be really hard to get trough

T-34s will always take the L because of cheeks and turret ring but KVs have way less weak spots than that

KVs are a bit like small tigers with worse guns

you wont get killed if you play it right

if you play for your mobility and use your armour properly (if you need to peek a corner and tank a shot, show your ufp at a veryy steep angle, i do this all the time against ppl, even tiger 2's. they'll bounce the shot and you can proceed to give them a round to their face

and if just driving normally, drive at an angle so they might hit a stupid angle

and you can just wiggle so the german might hit an angle too

Yes, absolutely do this. Only like 5% of the players I come across bother to wiggle their armor. You increase your survivability by 50% or more.

M4A1 is amazing at 4.7 and i think the other two 76mm shermans should go down to 5.0 and 5.3

Yeah M24 is effective up to 5.0 pretty easily. After that you need a decent amout of skill to do well

The m24 is effective up unti 5.0, could agree with that, bc the EBR 75 1951 beeing 5.3 is the same kind of tank but without a stab and much faster

Yeah I can imagine. Had a good 5 minutes in the M24 last night where I took out a soviet bomber, a KV-85 and then a Tiger! was ace (then I died to bad play lol)

the KVs don't seem to be an issue but sometimes a T-34 pops out from nowhere, I aim at the cheek but hit the corner of it's ballsack... then it kills me

especially on that one
