How much fuel should i take when climbing / when on deck F-8E

I usually take 20 in an up tier and 30 in a down tier, Full burn to climb and then once you are at alt you can pretty much cut it or run half afterburner in level flight. Shut off burner in a dive and only use full if you need the acceleration, the F8 has good enough energy retention to not really need full afterburner.
