Incredibly weak sides so in my experience minimal angling is best so like 15°

Dont angle early shermans

#

Their sides are incredibly weak and they are extremely vulnerable on the lower sides

The best thing you can do is find a small hill and angle upwards and use your depression to make your frontal armor harder to pen

Yeah it kinda sucks the Sherman’s here the 105 op af angle it and you pretty golden after that the hull is rounded in the edges the second you angle they will shoot the rounded part

The general rule I give myself in Sherman's is to not angle and if I'm a situation where I can't hide my side I will angle a tiny amount or try to drive up a slope or somet

Yeah can't really angle too much, just a tiny amount and you can try to jiggle a little bit to make the enemies unsure and newer players will probably just try to hit you center mass anyway. Best thing to do would be to avoid situations where you have to take shots, with the shermans you have the short stop stabilizer so try to take advantage of situations where you can peek out of cover briefly and shoot, since you don't have to wait for the gun to stop bouncing up and down like most other tanks do.

Absolutely never angle an M4a1

#

Never never never

#

It just makes the weak spot of your tank more vulnerable
