It's not recommended to play on Macs. Frankly, this being a mobile version of the game, emulator shouldn't be a thing. It is really rather gracious of Tencent to choose to let it happen anyway at all. That said, if you really want to play on a Mac, you will have to use an emulator other than gameloop

Open gameloop ( not pubg loading screen ) go to right side too 3 bars, click on it and click update, if any updates the gameloop has detected, it will get downloaded and installed

If you actually look at the article, it is from May of 2018(can use the url of the article to at least get a month and year). A lot has changed since then.

@glass moss The problem seems, PUBG Mobile ports or connections getting blocked. So contact with your ISP provider for the solution, but if the game ports are blocked by your government, then V.p.N is the only solution to this.

@glass moss but using V.p.N sometimes people get ba.nned if you change the connections repeatedly, so PUBG support wont recommend you using it.

Well, I don't have any specific numbers on how many cheaters have been banned,
but they seemed to be stepping up their efforts. I don't personally encounter much cheaters but I see some people still claiming there are cheaters, so I suppose it's mostly happening in specific regions.

- Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-8100
- Memory: 4 GB RAM (6 GB virtual RAM)

- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 2 GB available storage

for pubgm. Apparently the ones listed at the https://gameloop.fun/en/newspage?id=49&adtag=default page are meant for codm.

For reference, the i3-8100 is 4 core, 4 thread, at 3.6ghz cpu on a 14nm process.

The amd equivalent would be ryzen 5 1500x or newer

i7 7700k , ingame settings r smooth+ extreme, get 59 when in plan, but just after land max fps i get is 40-45 and when in some fights or something close range 30 to 35 and sometimes for just 1 sec it even goes for 12 fps or something like that, my anti Alison is closed by the way. @dusk pumice

That explains a lot. Laptops clock significantly lower than desktop equivalents, because you can't put in a desktop grade cooler in the very limited space(not to mention the battery life issues that come with high clockspeeds). Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do, other than following the optimization post by Phil, in the pinned messages. Sorry.

You can perhaps adjust your windows power plan, but that will only make the cpu hotter.

It is an unfortunate limitation of the form factor.

It's not windows and android's fault. It's the design of the underlying cpus. Smartphones use ARM based cpus, while pcs(desktop and laptop) use x86 based cpus.

In order for ARM instructions to run on x86 processors(or vice versa), the cpu has to translate them in real time.

If anything, blame Intel. They hold the license rights to x86 and they are only allowing amd to manufacture x86 based cpus(besides themselves). What's worse is that, should amd be purchased by another company, that license will not transfer over. This will leave Intel as the only company that can manufacture x86 cpus.
