is that ok ? because i reinstalled the emu after switching to standard version ( in order to install the game from obb which turned out to be a violation of tgb rules )
it also freezes a lot when starting pubgm's download

Well TGB used to freeze a lot for me like back in 0.10 but not anymore after some tweaking
if it freezes too much then lower your cpu priority for the "AndroidEmulator.exe" process

Other emulators have their own take on keymapping. Tgb keymapping is designed to resemble the default steam keymapping as closely as possible(some pubg steam features are not part of pubgm and vice versa, so some keymapping is going to be different, out of necessity).

Does the server has a consensus on Phoenix OS? The game detects it as an emulator but it uses Octopus to map its KB&M input.

I see, yeah I've been searching for previous discussions about it in this server, and apparently it also uses a third-party library to translate ARM instructions to x86, which is said to be risky of a ban. This coupled with the use of Octopus makes me hesitant to use it. Quite a shame, really. Would love if the moderators could possibly clarify with the devs, as Phoenix OS seems to be the best choice if performance is a concern.

The quick chat is one of those features that doesn't have a counterpart in the steam version. That means that every emulator is free to implement it whatever way they want, as every user is free to pick the emulator that implements it the way they want.

Personally, I only use one thing from the quick chat, and that very sparingly. The "enemies ahead" range finder. On tgb, that's bound to the F2 button.

Reset everything to default. Ingame as well as emulator. Press f1 to show you where the emulator keybinds are positioned, then move the chat button ingame so that it is below the f2 keybind. For good measure, make sure that quick chat is in list mode, not wheel mode(you can switch between the two in inventory).

@true elm try to scroll the emulator like the way you do on phone to get notification menu, then go to settings and applications then search for permissions and grant permission there

Or you can also enable permissions by going to settings by the same method and then go to permissions and then search for storage permission and select PUBGM and enable permission

Step 3, run the emulator
Step 4, go into the emulator settings and check "more games". Save and exit from the settings.

We can only get in touch with community managers. Who are not involved with content creation, bug fixes, or bans. In any case, reporting doesn't automatically ban the person. First, the customer service have to investigate the report and determine if a ban is justified. That will, naturally, take time. And they're not obligated to keep the person who sent the report updated on what they're doing. They don't have the manpower for that. Furthermore, keep in mind that they have separate teams handling new content, bug fixes, and bans.

That's an anti-virus issue. I had a similar situation recently. Took a lot of restarts and going into windows defender settings to turn it off, over and over again

Make sure that fast startupis disabled, restart the computer, then immediately go into windows defender settings and turn it off(one of the latest windows updates has made it so restarting automatically turns it back on). Then try again. Repeat until, eventually(when you're ready to tear out your hair), it works.

First gen i5 without a discrete graphics card... Sorry to say, but tgb just won't work well at all. The first gen i5 came out in 2010, dx 11 was released in 2011. The igpu just won't support dx 11. Not only that, but the first gen i5 is way below the minimum requirement of i3 8100 or equivalent.

Then close tgb from the taskbar and go to Txgameassistant folder and delete shader cache folder

Tgb is a 32 bit program, meaning that the max ram it can utilize is 4gb

There are tricks developers can use to make it possible for a 32 bit program to use more than 4gb of ram, but it is generally considered bad practice to use them, over simply switching to 64 bit.

Say what you will about the tgb devs, but I doubt they go for bad programming practices.

hello
I tried the method in the pinned messages but copied the file from a friend
however when i copy and replace then relaunch the emu it resumes downloading and the game doesn't appear to be installed

Even at 4gb the game runs fine so you don't really need anymore than that if your other hardware is exceptional

Well, emulator is cpu hungry so it is obvious that it will make noice when using much of it

Whereas gta v is a pc game which uses combination of gpu and cpu, which causes less usage of cpu
