Well the official method is now bugged, one way is to
uninstall your existing game then reinstall but sometimes even after reinstalling it still loads 0.11
and if you try and install an apk from pubgmobile.com it's basically hit or miss since if it doesn't load with the official turbo engine then we're risking a ban
and the last but not least method is to use the one at the pinned messages which is the 0.12 file I got and uploaded

I literally uninstalled everything. The emulator and deleted temp files
Downloaded the whole thing again
Now it works fine

That isn't really a valid question since the performance is mostly upto your hardware and settings
and they can update and improve the performance little by little
every new update in-game is at first not too compatible with the emulator
for that they later drop a silent background patch for the performance to stabilize
not sure if it's coming tomorrow
since they never announce these compatibility patches
